Dealing with small business owners on a daily basis, I get a good idea of what it is they’re going through. From the struggles to the successes, I hear it all.
One of the things I have been seeing a lot of is the backing off in marketing and over all spending in advertising. I can certainly relate to the reasoning behind small business owner’s decisions although I don’t always agree.
With the backing off in “traditional” marketing, I have seen businesses get creative in their approaches. Some attempts are good, some not so good. Instead of spotlighting business owners for their decisions, I will let Home Simpson illustrate what it is that I am seeing with most businesses and their approach to marketing.
